One of the questions I get asked most often is whether I incorporate energy work into my treatments. The answer is yes, but perhaps not in the way people expect. For me, energy isn’t something mysterious. It’s something we experience every day.
We’ve all walked into a room and immediately felt at ease. We’ve all met someone whose presence felt calming. We’ve all had moments when we knew something had shifted, even if we couldn’t explain why. The same is true during a treatment.
Before I notice the skin, I often notice the person. Their pace. Their breath. The tension they may be carrying. The areas of the face that seem to be holding the story of their week, their month, or sometimes even their year. My work begins with listening. Not just with my hands, but with my attention.
As the treatment unfolds, something often happens. The nervous system begins to settle. The breath deepens. The body lets go. And when that happens, the face responds. This is why I believe the most powerful transformations aren’t created through force. They’re created through presence.
While I use sculpting techniques, lymphatic work, and advanced skincare, what many clients remember most is how they felt. Grounded. Lighter. More connected to themselves. The truth is, our faces are not separate from the rest of us. They reflect how we’re living, how we’re coping, and how we’re caring for ourselves.
When we create space for restoration, the effects often reach far beyond the skin. Perhaps that’s what people mean when they talk about energy. Not something added. Something remembered.
A return to balance. A return to presence. A return to ourselves. And in a world that constantly pulls our attention outward, that may be one of the most beautiful gifts we can give ourselves.
